Ms. Ingham is a
veteran teacher with
more than 20 years
in Seattle Public
Schools.She has
taught at eight
Seattle schools, the
longest at Northgate
and Dearborn Park.
She started teaching
at Stevens in 2000..
Nancy grew up in Minnesota, one of four sisters, and went to college at the
University of Oregon in Eugene. Her mother and one of her sisters now live in
Florida, the other two sisters are still in Minnesota. Nancy moved to Seattle in
1975 and has lived in the Windermere neighborhood since 1984.. She loves to
travel, to go to movies and to read (mysteries!). Some of her favorite travel
destinations have been Scandinavia, France and Switzerland.
Nancy says she loves being in the beautiful updated Stevens building and
greatly appreciates the strong parent support here. The kids are great! If you
haven’t been to room 306, Nancy invites you to come check out her “room with a
view” – her third floor classroom overlooks Lake Washington and the Cascades,
probably one of the most desirable work places in the city!
